See Kanha in sight, Gopi smiled so sleight,
Hey Kanha, my basket so light, I will give you delight,
Need to carry home, butter also you get might!
Hurry, no need to fight, I will treat you alright!
[Rolling eyes to indicate that great delicacies await Kanha]

Aha, Kanha knows the plight, smiles so he slight,
Give me butter now, then carry it I might.
I need to see it in sight, don’t you act so upright,
I know what you think, luring me to fight.
[Kanha stands with both arms on his waist]

[Gopi makes innocent face and says]
No Kanha, True I say, as her eyes belight,
I have butter, sweets and more delight,
Need to go home, need help here slight,
Don’t want fight, as her face grows blight.
[Gopi shows pale drooping face as how her back hurts]

[Kanha knows her cunning ways]
How do I know, you seem so sleight?
Carry your basket to greater height,
What if you not treat me right?
You get all ready for feisty fight!
[Kanha shows the fighting fists,
waving hands and walks away smiling]

[Gopi watches him walk away with great adoration
And copying his fist actions, waves her hands
and swaying her waist as if to affectionately mock him]
