Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare / Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare

If all the folks sang kirtans,
And all sing estatic songs,
And all dance as gopis
Who could just sit or sleep for long?
(Metaphor for folks who are
either waiting or lost in ignorance)

If all the cows were Kamdhenus,
And all the trees were KalpaVrikshas,
And all air smelled of Krishna-love
Who could just sit or sleep for long?
(Who could not be attracted to
serve Krishna with full devotion)

If all walk dancing, all talk singing,
And all were blissful and enlightening,
All eat remnants of his blessing,
Who could just sit or sleep for long?
(Who could not be attracted to
dancing, singing, eating prasadam;
feeling the bliss)
